BaBaba equals mommy

Hubby kept saying that the baby says Mama.  Now I'm with her way more often and I never hear Mama. I hear Bur and Dada, hey and apple but no Mama. Well today I left to go to Bible Study and Cbear threw a fit.  She began saying bababa over and over with tears and reaching for me.  "See, Hubby says, "she is saying mama."  I stood there for a minute dumbfounded.  I had heard bababab before but I always assumed she was cussing but just didn't know the words yet.  So all those times she was complaining she was letting me know she was mad at me. So bababa means mommy. go figure.

Great weekend

Had a great day yesterday not having to go to work.  I felt a little bad about sending CBear to school but Mommy needs a little time for herself.  Went to Organic Lotus Spa and got my feet and hands done.  The young lady did a wonderful job.  I took my mom too.  She enjoyed it.  The owner was not as welcoming as she could have been but maybe she was having a bad day.  Who knows?

Bought a new car seat for the car.  A Graco Nautilus 3-1.  It is a pretty good size for Hubby's Honda.  The Britax I have in my 4runner is huge.  The Graco even has a cup holder and reclines.  I think she will like it. It is currently sitting on the floor in the dining room and Bear and the baby keep fighting over who gets to sit in it.  She keeps saying Bur  Bur Bur.  Which in babytalk has to mean move your tush outta my seat.

Going to watch a movie with my Hubby tonight.  Good Times!

Year One

So C-Bear is now a year old. She goes to Montessori school. She can say the cat's name, Bear. It comes out Bur but he knows and I know she is talking to him. She can say DADA. She can say Apple. She knows who I am. Ask her,"where is mommy"? and she looks dead at me. But does she call my name? Nah...that would be too much. But anyway am I wrong for wanting to hear MAMA or Mommy or even a hey you?



Anyhow, reading my mommy blogs. Today BobbleRoos, this cool place to order nap mat covers for preschool ,mentioned a blog called Heavenly Savings. They are reviewing the BobbleRoo products. I agree with the review. The blankets are a good quality and very cute when personalized. C-Bear loves her little pillow, blanket nap mat combo.



I enjoyed reading her blog. Don't know how to link it into the body of this blog but it is worth visiting.
